Styling Wide Leg Pants
I love me a good pant. Especially when they fit perfectly at the waist and flare out at just the right spot. Also, these babies can be worn Winter, Summer, Fall or Spring. Change up the color, print and fabric type and texture and rock ALL THE TIME. No matter how many times I reach for these though, I always look to a substantial heel to style with. Flats (IMO) just don't do justice to this silhouette. It may be because they're so dramatic on the bottom and generally cover ankle and prevent the pants from dragging on the ground. Since I am not much of a heel wearer because I legit feel I'll trip and break my nose with most of the super tall ones, I love a block heel or wider base heel option for more stability. There are so many trendy ones the market and they provide comfort and support relative to pencil heels.
Also, a good styling point. Since wide leg pants have a lor of flare and more fabric on the bottom, they look best with a more fitted top. If you're comfortable with e crop, hands down pair with that. If not, french tuck a T shirt or knot the T shirt at the waist - middle or side. It'll give the look a balanced and chic feel.
See our ROYALE set. We designed this with a wide leg tiered gharara pant at the bottom, kept the crop the same color and shortened it for the balanced effect. We then added a short koti jacket for a pop of color and depth. Take a small clutch and throw on some heels of your choice...and seriously, you can't go wrong with this look!
